Our Story
In a fast paced world, ever changing with technology, we aspire to slow things down and appreciate the tangible. Founded in Portland, Oregon in a garage turned Studio, RawHound Productions is a small team committed to artist made art. Taking a hands on DIY approach, they handle every aspect of stop motion film making, from set and character design to story boarding, filming and edited, they do it all.
Our Team
Thaddeus Thompson
RawHound Productions was founded by Thaddeus Thompson in 2008 as a passion project, and has slowly transitioned into a full time trade. Stop motion and film has always been an interest in his life, among other things like cars, motorcycles, music and adventure. You will find he ties all of these together to create tiny worlds full life and excitement.
Alexandria Ashcraft
A painter first but life long artist and bookworm, Alexandria has always expanded her artistic ability into a wide array of physical mediums, like sewing, chainmail and leatherwork that reflect her love for the dark, weird and fantastical. As the newest member of Rawhound Productions she brings a level of feminine grit and whimsy to the art and the stories created in our studio.
